| Senior Garment Technician One of the leader in the industry as Montreal based bottoms importer is looking for experienced Senior Garment Technician. Requirements: 1. 10 years or more working experience as Garment fit technician, expecializing in denim jeans 2. Strong working knowledge of fabric, fit, pants contruction, pattern drafting and grading 3. Excellent planning time management and organizing skills 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.combined with the ability to work and participate in high paced and strong team environment 5. Flexible and enjoys working with a variety of people in a dynamic company 6. Proficient in windows application. Excellent knowledge in the use of adobe illustrator. Job Responsability: 1. Manages fit sessions with buying teams. provides timely feedback to vendors, approval of fit, construction and specs grading. 2. Interacts closely with Associate buyers in establishing priorities, based product deliveries and product needs. 3. Provides specification development with fit and construction guidelines. 4. Produces techinical packages w/ garment specifications for production needs. 5. Measures and evaluation of prototypes, pre-production and shipment samples.
