District Supervisor, Quebec and Atlantic Region Position: To oversee a group of approximately 60 – 65 reps located throughout Quebec and Atlantic Canada. You will be responsible for working with our current group of reps while also hiring and training new reps for vacant areas. This position requires someone who has an understanding of and willingness to adhere deadlines and ensuring that all reps follow the deadlines as well. You will also be responsible for assigning jobs and territories and following up on the job assignments with the reps. The person hired for this position must be fluent in both French and English with strong written communication skills in both languages. This position requires someone with a flexible schedule. There will be some follow up required on evening and weekends. The candidate will work primarily from their home office and be responsible for travel within Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. Job Responsibilites: • Hiring, recruiting and training new reps • Assigning of jobs and territories to reps on a biweekly basis • Communicating with reps on a daily/weekly basis by phone and email • Following up with reps on unreported work • Attending weekly conference calls with head office and other District Supervisors • Completing field visits with reps, in store spot checks and phone spot checks • Travel throughout Quebec and Atlantic Canada to meet, train and hire reps • Meet with clients and potential clients as a representative of SPAR Minimum Skills/Qualifications: • Management experience with proven ability to lead, evaluate and grow their team • Retail and/or Merchandising experience is an asset • Computer experience (working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook) • Excellent communication skills (written and oral in both French and English) • Team player that is self-motivated and proactive
