Product Engineering and Integration This is an engineering role for Windows based third party products. The position is highly technical and hands-on with focus on Windows server and Microsoft SQL server technologies. The ideal candidate will have a very strong technical foundation as well as a strategic mindset, good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others. Skills Required -Hands on experience with Windows 2003/2008(ENT) including Internet Information server (IIS). -Experience in designing scalable server architecture for vendor applications. -Deep technical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g. AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS) within the enterprise. -Strong knowledge of networking concepts. -Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps). - Experience with SQL 2005 & 2008, Install application, Server performance operations, Design, Schema, and Optimization. -Experience with Stored procedures, SSIS, SQL 2005, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills. -Experience monitoring and managing databases. -Strong expertise in T-SQL development . -Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks). -Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, decision making, customer service, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, project management, teamwork, written communication, group presentations, group process facilitation, influence, results orientation, strategic thinking, and team building. Skills Desired -At least 2-3 years of experience supporting reporting environments. Experience with any reporting tools is desired. - Microsoft certifications in Windows 2003 and Microsoft SQL server a plus.
