| QC Supervisor Our client, is a Montreal-based pharmaceutical company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of generic, innovative, and consumer brand products in Canada and worldwide. They are currently seeking a QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR for a 12 month contract.. Reporting to the Manager, Quality Control Laboratories, the incumbent will plan, organize, supervise, and oversee day-to-day activities of a group of 10-15 QC laboratory employees involved in analyses of different pharmaceutical material, products for release, stability purposes, all in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and TPP and corporate requirements. Monitor and maintain good performance and productivity of laboratory resources. REQUIREMENTS Minimum five (5) years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory. Experience in personnel management. Experience as a Group Leader in a quality control laboratory is an asset. Result oriented. Bilingual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In depth knowledge of classical and modern analytical techniques, especially in chromatography and in molecular and atomic spectroscopy. Good knowledge of chomatography and spectroscopy software, such as ChemStation and ChemStore. Knowledge of LIMS is an asset¬. Thorough knowledge of USP, BP, EP, cGMP, SUPAC, ICH, & FDA guidelines. | |
